I didn't like this years turbo tax. Kept going back to the first part of the subject; instead of going where i needed to go.
What's great about it: steps to follow
What's not so great: i tried to go back to a specific part, and it started the process over again.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This software is very easy to use and understand, as it guides you step-by-step through even the most complex tax questions. Would recommend to anyone who wants to prepare their own taxes, not just to save money but to understand what the process is all about.
What's great about it: Guides you step by steps, makes complex work easy
What's not so great: can't think of any

still many bugs

wife works in Maryland and we fill out the Maryland non resident form correctly. but when it imports into Delaware it has me working in Maryland not my wife and all the data is wrong
What's great about it: most forms are easy to use
What's not so great: still gets the maryland non Resident data wrong in the Delaware form

Problem with name recognition in submitting returns.Find a easier way to correct this wihout goin through all of the forms to get the right names..

Each year I marvel at the ease of figuring our tax returns. Even filing long form is doable for the average joe.

Fed good state not great

Love the fed return process, but the state seems less friendly and not as familiar.
What's great about it: Fed return is easy and familiar
What's not so great: State return is different
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Was very easy to use. It imported all necessary infromation from last years taxes with no issue as well as all W-2 info as well.

I've been using Turbo Tax for years now. I purchased the Deluxe software and found it to be easy to follow. All the right questions are asked and easy to understand. Navigation from one topic to the next is also easy.
Turbo Tax helps me find deductions I never thought I had. Thanks Intuit for your product.
