Concise Directions!

I am a 23 year old student who has relied on TurboTaxes for the past 5 years. The directions are very clear and easy to understand. My only complaint is there are some sections in where I am asked to complete and it turns out they aren't even applicable for me (because I can still be claimed as a dependent). I would think that would be a given before asking me to fill out the form.
Regardless, I love this service and will continue using it! Thank you TurboTax!

Easier than by hand

Taxes went good, but I had to do research and calculations on my own to determine if my state tax refund from last year was taxable.
What's great about it: Goes through the steps and checks for errors
What's not so great: Didn't calculate if state tax return was taxable.

Another refund

I have been using turbotax since 2004. I like that it is improved each year. I also like the error check at the end. I believe that I get the best refund from using turbotax. I don't have to worry about learning anything new with the yearly changes with Federal and State tax code changes. Turbotax does it for me. I like how all you have to do is answer the questions and fill in the information and turbotax does the rest. It will be my first choice next year and for many years to come.
What's great about it: I like the step by step process. I like the feature that shows you a running total of your refund.
What's not so great: It still seems to take a long time to load the software at the begining.

What's great about it: Had to add an additional form for Tax credit for Mortgage, found it immediately and had the information I needed.

Filing made easy!

I've been using Turbo Tax for years, and it's so easy! I don't fully understand all the laws and taxes, but Turbo Tax just makes it easy by covering each area step by step to make sure nothing is missed and that you maximize your refund. It asks you questions, and you simply have to answer. I've found it to be less confusing than going to a tax preparer!
What's great about it: easy, straightforward, convenient, affordable
What's not so great: There is nothing I don't like!

Turbo tax is great. I've used it for years. However, I miss the old ability to do a site listing and go to individual areas on the return as in previous years. Also, on my Maryland Return, I clicked on update regarding the question of did I have income from US obligations and no question came up.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
