Great Tax Refund

This software is great. Though we had a bit confusion with the dependent and student deductions which were found at the end by error checking. Which was positive in terms of refund. Love this program.

Turbo Tax 2012

The program is well organized and serves the needs of a wide variety of competency. My only problem came near the end in the FILE category. I've used the program for many years, but never had this difficulty before. There didn't seem to be an even flow and I got jammed up wth some of the boxes in attempting to close. It all worked out in the end, but after more confusion than I have had in the past.
What's great about it: Interview method works even more smoothly this year
What's not so great: Difficulty in locating c orrect print button

Found some deductions

The entry was easy and fast. A bit confusing at the HSA screen which required a delete instead of a zero entry. Took a bit of time to figure that out. Overall a good to excellent program which finds many "hidden" deductions and credits.
What's great about it: Asked the questions and provided explanations
What's not so great: One entry needed to be deleted and a zero did not work

Some of the questions don't allow for a clear answer. I.E. I refinanced my home and paid Origination charges. I didn't buy new, but refinance wasn't included in the options. It took a while to figure out the best way to lie, yet be honest. Also... you kept trying to get me to buy state refund software, and you already knew that I am from Florida, which has no state income taxes!
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Answers not always clear, and some not accepted

Turbo Tax has a way of explaining tax law that I would have never understood. Had lots of medical bills and even a death, new home, renovations. I never would have got through by myself. Thanks turbo tax!

Interest and Dividend questions not entirely congruent with forms received. otherwise, program was great and easy.
