Depreciation and Rental Property

I talked with Gary who helped me figure my depreciation. It was a great help. I love this service where you can call them. It cleared things up in minutes. Also the software was discounting some rental figures I put in and he told me how to change it.
Thanks Turbo Tax....I really understand this better.
What's great about it: Call in Service which was FREE!
What's not so great: Explanations and treatment of depreciation was hard to figure out.

I have used TurboTax for many years without any issues or audits. Lets hope this year is the same. Easy to use, guide just walks you through the process. Only issue is not the software but gathering all the required documents to complete the process.
What's great about it: Ease of use, easy guide

Less expensive than a tax professional and it helps me track my income and deductions throughout the year. I like that it inputs my past information which simplifies the process.
What's great about it: estep by step walkthrough
What's not so great: difficult working with schedule k-1

I LOVE TURBO TAX

I love turbo tax because I was not able to do my tax by long hand. It was so confusing and so many papers, with turbo tax i get the very most refund possible and saved a lot of money in the process. Turbo tax also remembers you and imports your taxes automatic, that saves a lot of time! I would recomend turbo tax to anyone!!!!!

I organize my data on a homemade tally sheet. Once done I enter the information into Turbo Tax. Start to finish is usually a one day job since I keep complete records during the year.
This year, as in previous years, the AZ Clean Elections Fund Tax Credit is not easy to get through without multiple tries to figure out what the program is looking for.
All-in-all, a great experience. Way better than doing the taxes by hand like used to do.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Quick to finish once you have your papers in order.
What's not so great: None for me.
