Very Good Product

Excellent tool for the novice or experienced tax preparer. A must when filing.
What's great about it: Easily steps you through all parts of your federal and state tax returns.
What's not so great: Would love more in-depth information on some of the more complicated subjects.

Time-saving and Helpful

Overall, Turbo Tax was a great help for filing this year's taxes. It had and easy walk through that explained everything along the way. The only difficulty was trying to pinpoint exactly where my errors within the forms were made. Other than this, I would highly recommend the program!
What's great about it: Easy walkthrough of federal and state taxes
What's not so great: Hard to find out where I made errors
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Confused with military information

I am a guardmember who got an active duty job during the year of 2012. I PCS'ed but staay ed a residence with my home state. Turbo tax did not seem to understand that I moved and had expenses with my PCS and kept telling me I had errors with my state of residence and moving expenses. there was no place to check that I was an active duty member. I can only hope the IRS realizes that. It would be easier next year to be able to have a button to check for active duty militaty and a free text area to type in the state of residence. The program should be able to recoginize that check and help move the person through the rest of the federal process and make sure the correct state is availble for state filing.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: no place to actaully check active duty military

SO EASY TO DO AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. THE ONE IMPROVEMENT THAT COULD BE MADE IS THAT WHEN FILLING OUT MANY INDIVIDUAL STOCK REDEMPTIONS IT WOULD BE NICE IF IT RETURNED YOU TO THE AREA WHERE YOU START AGAIN INSTEAD OF HAVING TO SCROLL DOWN TO THE BUTTON EACH TIME.
What's great about it: SO SIMPLE TO USE AND DOESNT SKIP A BEAT
What's not so great: ONLY ONE IMPROVEMENT COULD BE MADE
