Nicely done

I like this product a lot for being a first time user. I wish that it was just a little bit easier to navigate the different pages in case you need to go back and change something. The search bar did little to help me find what I needed to find and change.
What's great about it: Easy to use, very detailed in the deductions area
What's not so great: Navigation and search bar
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

straightforward for everything but royalties- it kept trying to make it a business (sch C). took an online answer to cue me in on how to get it to go to sch E
What's great about it: walks you through all the forms
What's not so great: mineral rights royalty real tough to get right

Quickest process yet

Although we have a few more forms than most people, turbo tax is really quick and easy to follow. This is the 10th year in a row I've used it and it seems to get more intuitive every year. I love that last years information in stored and reused so I don't have to type in the same information each year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow

Awesome Way to Federal Refund!

I have been using Turbo Tax at least the last 10 years and
love the software and ease of use. I used to use an accountant and paid too much for the same results.
I recommend Turbo Tax to all my friends and family.
I love that fact that the filing is free now....

I have used Turbotax for years and have always found it easy to use, except for when it divides expenses for use of my home for rental.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: rental worksheet was confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Never Get A Refund!

We have used TurboTax for over 10 years and found the program to be very good. We just finished sending our two kids through college and your software made it a lot easier to complete our returns and get the tuition credits we deserved. Occasionally, there are a few bugs in the software, but they are usually corrected with updates prior to our filing. Our son got his first job and relocated to the DC area. Your software made his tax return easier since he had income from two states, along with moving expenses, and college loan interest. We will continue to use TurboTax in the future.
What's great about it: I don't have to fill out tax forms
What's not so great: You charge a lot for additional state returns and filing fees
