Makes it easy for me to file my own taxes and send them. Covers all topics well and has explainations for things I don't understand.
What's great about it: inexpensive, explains well
What's not so great: takes awhile to download and doesn't include E-file for State

I've been using Turbo Tax and recommending it to my friends for many years. I've used it from the time I was employed, self employed and now retired. While it's gotten easier as a retiree it always has come through no matter how complicated the return was.
I just follow the Q&A format, grab the appropriate forms from the bank, financial instutions, emplorers and everything else. By the time I'm organzied I'm done.
No worry about the competency of an accountant or math errors.

Been using TurboTax for 13 years now. Have not been disappointed.
What's great about it: easily guided questions
What's not so great: Scroll to the bottom to get to the "Next section" button
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Makes life a bit easier

The walk thru is a good tool to double check your work. The whole program is easy to follow, but some areas do need help. Example-I had damage to a part of my house and entered info under casuality area.I was trying to find a way to see if I could get my deductable on homeowners insurance back. The program was no help. Tried entering the info eight different times and could never get a answer,period. I wish turbotax had a area that we could e-mail and get direct help within a day or two, cause if its there, I could not find it

So Simple!

It is easy and fast to file Tax Returns with Turbo Tax. It always gives me a headache to think about filing taxes but with this software I feel more relaxed. It does absolutely the same thing that any Tax filing company would do; the benefit, you save a lot of money! What else can you ask for! Just buy it!
What's great about it: I do not have to think a lot or feel lost when I'm entering information.
What's not so great: NONE
