Couldn't do it w/o Turbo Tax

I am very happy with the product. It saves me a lot of money I'd have to pay to a professional. I do taxes for the family. This year I run into 2 issues.
Wash Sale Rule gave me trouble. It wanted to disallow the sale-at-loss. After call to IRS I figured out it should pro-rate the sale loss. Filling out underlying form instead of interview did the right thing.
Form 1127 for non-resident NYC employees is NOT part of interview. I didn't get prompted for it and when I added it explicitly I had to go through the form manually because it wants to add non-NYC earned income. Here I had to do manual override.
In both cases however it was easier then doing "original" form.

High Value - Low Cost

TurboTax Deluxe was an easy to use product. I finished my taxes in just a few hours and saved hundreds of dollars over what my CPA had been charging me.
What's great about it: TurboTax Deluxe was an easy to use product.
What's not so great: I hate doing taxes; but this product made the process more bearable.

Have been using Turbo Tax for many years - makes the painful process easier to get through quickly. E-filing is quick and easy as well.

What's not so great: have to suffer through updates each and every time log in

Feedback on Turbotax Deluxe experience

Couple of points to consider for improvement:
Each year when I enter my Mortgage, the total owe or refund amount from the IRS typically does not change at all. I'm assuming this is because my deduction wouldn't exceed my standard deduction, but it sure would be nice if Turbotax would inform me why there was no change to the total owed/refunded.
As for the CA State return, this is the first year that I had to guess how to print my paperwork to mail to the State. Hard to tell what I needed to print for filing, and I am still not 100% certain that the packet includes everything needed. (Even the top-page instructions for State filing doesn't tell me what is included in the printed packet, but only what needs to be in the packet. (Don't have that warm-fuzzy feeling this year...)

Overall it was good program,. Only one issue with confusion about having to paper file or ability to e-file. It allowed me to efile once I got to the end, so I'm assuming it worked.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: gave conflicting information about having to paper file and then let me efile
