Taxes to go

TT has gotten better in that W2 forms from new employers were just sucked right in. Complex brokerage filings were also uploaded rapidly. The prompting was great. All in all, a great way to do the taxes.
Some negatives include cryptic errors about blank boxes that made no sense, and things being entered in the wrong place on rare occasion.
Overall, a positive experience, even for filing jointly.
What's great about it: very easy to enter data, sucked info from brokerage firms
What's not so great: Cryptic or nonsense error messages, like looking thru a keyhole.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

The printing options need to be more selective. Estimated tax forms should not be printed when they have not been requested. It would be helpful to always allow some forms to be deleted from the print request.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use TurboTax Deluxe
What's not so great: When I do not want to file estimated taxes, it stil always prints out the 4 forms--change the program to not do this!

Good Time

I have been using TurboTax for over 5 years. I like it a lot. It is easy to use. Doesn't have a lot of complicated questions. I like the error review at the end - gives me confidence that I have done the right processes. I would recommend to anyone who wants to prepare their own tax filings!
What's great about it: Covers everything I need - asks me the right question
What's not so great: Don't see too many cons with program

We have used Turbo Tax for the past 10 years with always getting wonderful service out of the program and receiving the best refund.

Taxes are easy!

TurboTax makes tax season easy. Prior year information is imported. Investment account information is imported. Everything gets put in the right places on the right forms. And using the "Easy Guide" method makes sure that I get tested on any changes from my prior year to ensure I don't miss any information that could impact my return.
What's great about it: Simple.

Great tax tool

Turbo tax has always been easy to follow and they keep improving it every year. The guided steps are very easy to follow and if you need to you can go back at any time and review or change each section. The review at the end is very thourough. I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and have complete confidence I am getting the max refund due me. Thank you Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to follow steps
What's not so great: None - works great for me.
