Best Tax Software

The product was so easy to use and electronically file the returns for all my family members. It lead me through the complexities of filing taxes and made it really easy.

Been using for years, automaticlly loads last years data, very comprehensive, pretty hard to do your taxes wrong if you follow step by step process

I wouldn't want to have to complete my tax return without turbo tax. It is so difficult to keep up with tax law changes and to calculate deductions, i.e. minimum tax forms. My only complaint is that it is often difficult to locate an area that has to be updated without going through the product line by line and answering the same questions over and over again.
What's great about it: All calculations are completed for me and latest tax law changes are included.
What's not so great: When I had to go back to add deductions or make corrections, it was difficult to get to or locate the appropriate area.

No loan for the fed

love the ease of estimating taxes. Don't like getting refund but don't want to pay a penalty either
What's great about it: easy to plug in the numbers with step by step
What's not so great: not easy to not print unwanted portions of return (Some worksheets, vouchers)

Dealing with part time residency and trying to correct simple items such as typos on the state returns was a nightmare. Never again!

What's not so great: Never again will I deal with the frustration I've experienced with TurboTax.

Overall still functional, just weak in GUI interface and starting to feel not as advanced as other products coming out.
What's great about it: Trustworthy still
What's not so great: Software is getting less user friendly

Consistently worthwhile!

I have used TurboTax for a decade and each year's version not only gets easier to walk through but stronger with its interface. I feel confident every year that I use TurboTax software and I know I'm using a solid product.

As usual TT is very easy to use software. I have been using it for over ten years and never had any problems. This year the tax code is particularly complex, but with TT doing taxes is simple.
