Turbo Tax is GREAT !!

Excellent product, easy to use and understand without a complete knowledge of the tax laws. Good and through product for both beginers and professionals.
What's great about it: easy interview process, detailed info to questions
What's not so great: Downloads are getting bigger

Nice software

I have always used Turbo Tax and haven't had any problems. Love that it imports everything from the prior year and can easily save as PDF files.
What's great about it: Very easy to use

Easier than I thought this year

Everything went fine until I started printing. I didn't find a screen where I could select the number of pages . ( Ididn't want to print the whole thing.)
Other than that, everything was fine.
What's great about it: quick
What's not so great: had problem finding print options

Could handle pensions better.

I help my parents with their taxes. Dad is on a defined benefit pension - reported on 1099R. Now that he's past the age of RMD, the program asks me for each of his pension 1099s (he gets 4) what the percentage was that was RMD. I've had tax training... I know what I want the outcome to be, so I can fake the program into handling it. But TurboTax handles so many unusual tax situations well, it surprises me that they botch this one and that I have to figure out how to fake out the program. Intuit - you can do better.
What's great about it: Pulls together the multitude of paper nicely
What's not so great: Very annoying when dealing with defined benefit pensions

easy tax return

I had a small tax return and this made it reallty easy and got me the best rtefund I thought I coud get, covering all the details quickly and easily.

I've been using TurboTax for many years and have always been completely satisfied with its' ease of use and its' thoroughness in assuring an accurate, error free return with confidence that my tax payment is the minimum that I am actually responsible for.
