I have used Turbo Tax for approximately 8 years and it gets easier to use every year.
What's great about it: Easy to use - guides you through everything
What's not so great: Occasionally explanations are not clear enough

Turbo Tax is Like a Walk Through The Park Process!

I have used Turbo Tax for at least seven years now and feel confident that the process takes me through everything i need to cover in the past year. It is cheaper than going through an accountant and anyone can do it! It sure beats trying to do it by hand and is a huge time saver overall.
What's great about it: The ease of going through step by step & update of changes on a yearly basis is why I purchase the product every year.
What's not so great: I wish the product was the same price wherever you go to pick it up.

I wouldn't do taxes without TurboTax

I've used TurboTax for a long time and it gets better every year. We've been through children, buying and selling properties, moving, incomes in several states in the same tax year, and every time TurboTax walks us through. Just when I think this will be the most difficult year yet, TurboTax helps even me understand what to do.
My only gripe, and it results from my own ignorance, is that sometimes I'd like the tax language TurboTax uses to be explained in plain English, or at least come with an example that would help me understand the concept better.
Other than that, I love the program and will continue to use it every tax season.
What's great about it: Taxes done in about an hour and a half. Super easy to use. Imports last year's tax info in seconds.
What's not so great: Sometimes has tax-y language that's hard to understand.

Payment Processing NOT WORKING.

Everything went OK during data entry, but when I went to pay for Audit Defense, I was unable to. The program told me that I had entered an invalid credit card. I tried multiple times with two different cards, both of which I know are good, valid cards. Nothing worked. I finally had to call and speak with a representative, based in India, of course, and very hard to understand. The rep did help me, though, and got me to the next step in the process, which was paying for the State e-File. This payment failed in the same way, requiring me to call in AGAIN and get it taken care of. Bottom line - I was completely unable to use the online payment system and having to call in added at least an hour to my tax prep time. It's this kind of annoyance that will make me give up on TurboTax and instead pay to have my taxes done.
What's great about it: Cheaper than professional tax prep services.
What's not so great: Unable to make payments online.

Turbo tax is fast and easy, it takes you through your returns and will question before you are done. I have used turbo tax for years and have always been happy with the product.

Very good overall. Like seeing the helpful hints and seeing how my deductions and data impacts the return.
What's great about it: Thorough and feel confident about my taxes! Need customer support for help and the guy did a great job!!!
What's not so great: Could update latest software, so had to use customer support for assistance, but worked out just fine!
