Fast, Cheap and Easy

Turbo Tax does for me what the overpaid CPA used to do for me, (when he was good and ready, after taking care of his big-money clients) for a fraction of the cost and much more conveniently. I always felt as if I got to do all the footwork, organizing all my forms and receipts, and he got to do the easy part, and collect his fee. Turbo Tax guides me through the process clearly and logically, and watches for problems the whole time. Unless you have an extremely complicated income tax situation, it doesn't make sense to pay someone else hundreds of dollars to do this for you.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax automatically keeps track of last year's return and streamlines the current return.
What's not so great: I haven't found any yet.

great worry free filing

before i started using turbo tax i was getting audited every other year. for the last 7 years i have been using turbo tax, has never been audited and i am very happy with the overall outcome. Thank you turbo tax
What's great about it: watching my refund go up as i enter more deductions and recieving deductions i did not know of

Purchase price states includes state file but when you get there they charge extra

Turbo tax review

I was satisfied with the product except for the fact that during the error report, I wasn't able to fix an error by going to the page with the error without research. When I did get back to the page with the error, I fixed it. When I re-did the error report the same error was listed again. I went back to the page and my previous entry was selected again. This happened 8 times. Finally, I entered incorrect information and it went through.
What's great about it: step by step, value
What's not so great: Error report would take you to the page with the error

Easy to use

I have use Turbo Tax for years. One year I was going to use H & R Blocks tax software. I thought I could save some money. That was a BIG mistake. I got the federal downloaded fine but when it was time to do state that is when the problems began. I could not get the state to load correctly. After at least 30 hours (could be more) on the phone with their support team I was where I started. Well almost I had to have my son-in-law fix my computer because the changes they had me make messed up my software. I have never had a problem with Turbo Tax. It loads easily and is easy to follow. I have done my taxes and my daughter from another state and never had a problem. I am very comfortable and satisfied with Turbo Tax. I will never try another software again.
What's great about it: Easy to download and easy to follow.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
