Easy to use

I really like use turbotax to do all of my taxes. All of my questions are answered as I go through the steps and I was abe to easily import my investment information saving me many hours of keying in data. The user interface is very intuitive. Each year it makes taxes easier to deal with.
What's great about it: Walks me through all the questions, great help

Use it Every Year

I've used it for more than 15 years so I guess that speaks to what I think about the program. A nice improvement would be if there were automatic backups created with timestamps. I deleted a home business we had and subsequently learned I needed to manually re-input all the business data which (in an earlier copy) had been imported from last year. Basically, it would be nice to have some UNDO capability.
What's great about it: Carryover of previous year's data
What's not so great: Doesn't automatically maintain backups

I used to do my own returns. Now with all the new laws, etc I prefer this way. It's really an expert asking all the right questions - sorta fill in the blank questionaire. I got these done in less than 2 hrs. The only confusion was on medical premiums (I was on cobra last year) so I did deduct them on my KY form. Hope that was right!!! Maybe next year you can explain initials better. We are simple folk ya know . . .
What's great about it: step by step and quick (as long as you have all your paperwork!)
What's not so great: some initials are confusing - should spell out exactly what they mean!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Ease of use

This year's form was pretty easy to use but I still had some questions about the overall flucuation in my total income. A prime example would be earning 0.46 cents on an investment and having to pay taxes on that - it changed my overall income and return by quite a bit.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, and self explanatory
What's not so great: Some items need an easier explanation

Easier Every Year

The simple fact of not having to enter the same info every year -- that it's pulled in from the previous year's return is worth the cost of the software. The advertised "GPS" to complete taxes is truly how simple the process is.
What's great about it: Ease of use; "blanks" on forms match position of #s on W-2
What's not so great: When "none" is clicked in income and deductions components, the screen defaults to "start"

It's That Easy!

I've been working with TT for about a decade now and while nervous at first about doing this myself, TT quickly took the fear away with its easy to use, simple to follow guided software. And each year they streamline the process even more it seems taking out a lot of the guess work. And when there is some uncertainty, they have the help center standing by. This year was a little different for me as I had a relative pass away and I had to do an estate return which first required me to obtain the business program and while it walked me through the steps as the personal software did, there were areas that I didn't know how to answer as I was unfamiliar with estate rules and regs. As simple as TT is to use, you still need to have a basic knowledge of the topic you're working on and I didn't so I had to turn it over to an accountant. That little misstep aside, I will continue to use TT for my personal returns for many years to come. Great job folks!
