Second time around

Great tax tool and though highly automated, it does give you opportunities to review anything at any time and make "manual" entries.
I Also like the "Related Form" feature that lets you view the exact form the information is being put into.
What's great about it: I liked the numbers from last year listed to compare to
What's not so great: Not always obvious where some deductions belong

No stress

I think that the additional fees for state e-filing should have been included as well as audit support for low risk clients.
What's great about it: Ease of filling out or editing
What's not so great: Added fees after completing taxes

Not ready for Mac

Deduction forms for medical did not open to enter values when using the Mac program. All work entered for the Mac operation had to be redone in the Turbo Tax for Windows environment. Windows portion worked good and the
interface is much better than the Mac environment. For a program which indicates it will run on Mac or Windows when it did not work correctly on Mac it sure is a problem.
Overall I am happy with the widows experience and am glad I use parallels on my Mac so I can complete my tax return.

Another year of doing my state and federal taxes

Another year of doing my state and federal taxes the TURBO way. It is soooo much simpler than the paper and pencil method of yore!
What's great about it: Comprehensive and simple "walk throughs" make it easy
What's not so great: I have to pay money.....but that isn't TurboTax's fault....
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

frustrating year with turbotax

i could not install turbotax 2012. I received a generic error (see above) even after foloowing the "troubleshooting" tips. I went through all of things on the support window. I could not get it to install. I had to open a ticket and havve Dave help me by creating an online account and then he had me download it off the site. Clearly you software needs better error handling ability. it should have pointed me to the proper place but instead the support page had multiple issues it could be encountering. i am very frustrated with turbotax this year.
What's great about it: once i was able to install turbtax 2012 on my pc, it was very easy to use.
What's not so great: i wasted 4 hours trying to install turbotax. I kept reciving this generic "unrecoverable error".
