Always a quality product

I have used the product over 10 years and have never had any issues with it, nor problems from the IRS.
What's great about it: easy to follow the questions and screens

TT is for ME

The software is great. A feature that does NOT currently exist would be an explanation of the difference between this and last year. I had to some deep diving in my tax return to determine why my medical expense reduction was much less this year than last and why with slightly less income I got almost a thousand dollars less. It would be nice when there is a reasonable delta between current and previous years if the software could provide a simple analysis e.g. tax deduction change, income difference etc. this year almost seemed like a mistake was made.
What's great about it: easy and quick, ability to compare this year to last, menu driven format makes simple to ensure we get all the tax break
What's not so great: For a repeat advantage customer still surprised at the price. Many stores offer cheaper

Always sad when we owe money as we did this year, but the TurboTax program "limited the damage" and we feel we paid the least amount of tax owed

Couldn't do it without TurboTax's help

I have been using Turbotax for over a decade. As I have gotten older, my taxes have become more complicated and yet Turbotax has kept up with the growing complexity. I don't think I could have completed my taxes without help from this software. One thing that is particularly nice now is that the interface seems to have finally stabilized (in the old days, it would change radically year-to-year), so I am no longer starting at the bottom of the learning curve each year. Most of the directions are pretty clear. In one case, however, the directions were quite confusing. In particular, when filling out Form 8615 (used for filing investment income for children under 18), the directions for getting tax information from other children in the same family made no sense at all. But that was the only confusion I ran into this year.

Turbo Tax is quick,easy, and reliable;it takes you step by step through each section of the tax return and allows drill-down detail to better understand what is required.

I have been using turbotax for a few years now and I love the fact that you can transfer all info from the previous year and that the program can "fetch" W2 info so you don't have to input all the details.
I feel very confident that the returns are accurate and I like the guarentee that if anything happen they will take care of it.
