OVERALL A USER FRIENDLY PROGRAM I REMEMBER THE DAYS OF INPUTTING THIS BY HAND FERGET ABOUT IT..
What's great about it: QUICK PROGRAM FOLLOW THE STEPS AND YOURE FINISHED. GUARENTTED
What's not so great: HAD TO PAY TAXES.. BUT NO CONS OTHERWISE

Easy and Accurate

Been using Turbo Tax since it was created and I love it. I have even used it in the past for farm and small business income and it is easy and accurate. Wouldn't use anything else.
What's great about it: Fast, accurate and complete
What's not so great: Getting a little pricey.

Been using TurboTax for years and feel empowered to be able to do it myself. TurboTax prompts you for everything you need to enter and is easy to use.
What's great about it: Watch the calculation of your refund as you enter your information
What's not so great: Have to pay extra if you want to eFile state

Each Year Gets Better

I've been using TurboTax for over a decade and it just keeps getting better and more intuitive each year. There's no reason to enlist expensive CPA tax specialists unless there are REALLY complicated tax situations - most Americans won't need that. There isn't anything I don't like about TurboTax - this year's free filing is a nice feature!
What's great about it: Intuitive and Fast
What's not so great: None...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

FIX BUG - see review below

Had to delete three 1099Rs in order to get around errors asking questions about start date and plan cost at annuity start date. SInce I entered EXACTLY the same information as I had previously, this is a TurboTax bug. I had to research for a bit to find the solution, but I finally found it. With the host of questions surrounding this issue, I would have thought TurboTax would have figured this out and fixed it.
From marty1314 - I would just delete the entry and start over. 1099-R's with the same # in both boxes are the simplest variation and are NOT supposed to generate very many questions at all.
