easy to use!!!

I have been using turbotax for my tax return filing. I like it because it is simple to use and all paper works at no stored at some offices.
What's great about it: simple and quick to file my tax for federal and state.
What's not so great: none

For the past 5 years, I've used Turbo Tax.
Before, I would go to the guys down the "block", and cringe every time we got the bill for preparing our taxes. We would get charged for every form they need to prepare, on top of that, we would get a guy who doesn't know all the tax laws, and ended up short on our return, then we have to amend it the following year.

So, I figure we just we just purchase Turbo Tax and file on our own. and since then we been using Turbo Tax.
TurboTax has a great interface, has a way to quickly look at the tax form if need be. I like the way there's a running total on the top. The error check feature is good.

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax rules

Overall, i think Turbotax is a fantastic product. It makes tax time easy and simple. I was able to complete both mine and my fiance's returns in a few hours. From past experience, i have received my return quickly.
What's great about it: Ease of use. Error checking. Quick process
What's not so great: not sure i am getting "creativity" in my deductions

Turbo Tax makes it soooo simple.

I have been filing personal tax returns for over 20 years. I remember the days of sitting there with a calculator and running tape to make sure that I had everything added together correctly. Turbo Tax takes away all that pressure.
Now all I have to do is assemble my documents and answer the questions. Turbo Tax takes care of the research, checks for deductions I wasn't even aware of, AND does all the addition and subtraction for me. Today I finished my moderately complex taxes in just over an hour and am receiving back far more money than I had anticipated. In years past, this would have been a project that would have been spread out over a series of days and I probably would have missed a thing or two.
This was my second year with Turbo Tax. I'll be back again in 2013!
What's great about it: Quick and easy step-by-step helps me maximize my return.
What's not so great: It won't organize the stacks of paper for me.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

In previous years the municipal funds which were partially tax free in MA I just entered the MA amount into the federal worksheets. This year I had to break it out into the MA part tax free and the other states tax free and do the fund entry twice. Tow entries in form B. Why not just have an extra box to check and enter a tax free amount for the state I live in. Would be a lot easier.
What's great about it: Imports from previous year
What's not so great: Tax free state funds were a pain
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Wonderful. Leads you by the hand and makes sure you arent missing anything. Sure beats doing all those calculations by hand.
