I have been using Turbo tax for many years now, and always had good luck, it is a great program and it saved me a lot of money over doing the preparation myself. The only thing you must make sure you have the internet, so the program can update.
What's great about it: This is an excellent Program
What's not so great: Turbo-tax should give the people that use Turbo-tax for more than one year, a break on their next years program.

Turbo Tax's step by step software is unparallelled. The audit defense option is a worthwhile investment, even you only use it once in your lifetime. the money saved by doing my own taxes year after year (painlessly) would speak for itself as to why Turbotax is and always will be #1. Oh yeah, live long and prosper.
What's great about it: EASY WALK THROUGH
What's not so great: WONT DO YOUR TAXES FOR YOU WHILE YOU SLEEP OR DO OTHER THINGS

Efficacy of Turbo Tax

I found this program to be efficient and easy to use. It was update regarding tax law. The query method used to complete my return was executed in simple language and easily maneuvered.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, Accuracy.
What's not so great: Too complicated for simple returns

Takes the stress out!

I put off doing taxes, longer than usual this year - and was getting stressed! Once I got started, was all done in a couple hours. Nice! Now can enjoy the rest of weekend!
What's great about it: Easy! Thorough! Catches me if I forget something
What's not so great: Seems like always asking for more $ - for more forms and filing

It's Over!!!

When I wanted to look at the actual forms the IRS is getting I had a hard time finding it. Also, when asked what was on last year's form on certain lines (for my state return) I had to look at last years- why couldn't you do that? You had all my records!
What's great about it: Gets it done
What's not so great: Difficult to review actual form

Bank connections getting better

I was pleasantly surprized with improved bank connections. Still needs some work as one of the accounts did not connect
