Easy Breezy Returns

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and fill confident that my returns are done correctly and that I am getting back the maximum amount on my returns.
What's great about it: As a Certified Tax Preparer for a locate company, I find Turbo tax to be much friendlier to use than any other program.
What's not so great: I didn't like that I cannot put my Name and PTIN on a return that I have prepared.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

As simple as possible

Taxes are a pain and so confusing. Turbo Tax makes it as easy as possible. Because we have been using it for several years it seems to 'know' us and asks all the right questions. We also like that it shows the prior year #s right next to this year, so we can easily eyeball it to see if we are missing something or double check if the year to year #s are way off.
What's great about it: Easy & intuitive

It was very simple to complete my taxes using turbo tax and to efile my taxes once they were completed. Will definitely use turbo tax next year.
What's great about it: Very easy to file taxes with turbo tax
What's not so great: So easy that it made me second guess myself

Finally Finished!

While I "started" my taxes back in January, I wasn't able to continue them until I got all my financial information from various sources. Turbotax made it easy to go in an verify that I covered everything.
What's great about it: Turbotax just continues to make it so easy
What's not so great: n/a

Problem with State return info

When I downloaded my dividends and interest return from my broker, the first download was "non-final". Then I downloaded the "final" return a month later. The federal forms properly substituted the final return. But the State form (NJ) put both returns in. I would have paid double tax. The only way to correct this was to manually delete the first div and int report from the state return.

First time filer

Over all positive experience with a first time file. Some of it was almost fun! Would have liked some more guidance with multiple state taxes.
What's great about it: user friendly walk through, positive wording and encouragement
What's not so great: a little confusing with the multi state file

Overall, good !! I have used Turbo Tax for the last 7 - 8 years.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to complete with good helpful tips.
What's not so great: A few areas can get a little confusing while working through them.
