overall very good but:
had difficulty with entering information on foreign taxes paid. I could not enter country information and had to use various.
did not see the option to put refund to next year's taxes
What's great about it: generally easy to use, good support
What's not so great: foreign taxes paid, refund

Easy-to-use software

I just retired recently. I have used Turbotax for many years and find it convenient to use through all the changes in circumstances in life. Many years ago, as a consultant, I had to file multi-state taxes and found that Turbotax made it easy. I like that Turbotax keeps up with the innovations in IT systems. The detailed step by step questions make it easy to file and not miss any important items. The"Explain this" feature at the individual steps makes it easy to look up things so you can understand things clearly. The e-file features make it easier so I don;t have to worry about printing things an mailing them at the post office like we used to do a few years ago. Turbotax helps me protect the environment by not using paper.
What's great about it: Easy, detailed, quick, convenient, maintains hsitory
What's not so great: Getting more expensive

A Weight Off My Shoulders!

Even a nervous, tax-hating, simpleton like myself can navigate through the system with TurboTax. Phew! Now that it's done and I've saved Big Bucks not going to H&R or others... time to get on with my weekend!
What's great about it: Held my hand through all the interest and deduction difficulty
What's not so great: none

What's great about it: fast, no problems understanding and no security log in problems.

Turbo Tax is the single most exceptional tax program on the market. From a few questions asked the program can determine your individualized tax options. This feature is critcial and what sets Turbo Tax apart from other programs. I have been using the program for over eight years now. Turbo Tax is the ONLY way to do taxes.

Accurate & Easy

I retired, sold a house, bought a condo, and got divorced this year. I thought for sure I would have to go to a CPA to make sense of everything I had to file especially all the new forms, but Turbo Tax took care of everything! Yippee!!!
What's great about it: Uncomplicates the whole taxing process!

So Simple Yet Thorough

It seems that every year with Turbo Tax gets easier and smoother. I used to think the annual ritual of hand-entering and calculating taxes was an intense session of hard work. Since using Turbo Tax the last 4 years, it's almost fun (at least if refunds are involved.) I especially like the side by comparison with prior year amounts entered. Confusion is minimized, and confidence is maximized.
What's great about it: Even made unusual Trust K-1 info easy to report. Love the retention of pins, and other id's.
What's not so great: None
