Using the Friendly Turbo Tax Tools

Turbo Tax has been serving me for well over 1.5 decades. It is a very friendly tool and helps get the job done in an orderly fashion.
The "minister" or clergy understanding of taxes is a key feature. If it did not allow for me to put in my unique figures I would not use it. But, it is helps us who are double classified to get the work done.

the Schedule C and Form 2106 forms are confusing to the Tax Filer when more than one is used, especially regarding the automobile deductions.
I would and do recommend TT to others for ease of use and accuracy of filing. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: The Easy guide is so helpful. The ease of access to the Forms makes it comforting.
What's not so great: the Laborious way of dealing with Sch C and Form 2106 for us small potatoes is way to long

No refund, but experience was good

I have no idea why my returns printed in a foreign language when my computer is set only for English. I prepared two returns and the paper and ink that was wasted is ridiculous. Why is it set up this way. I noticed in the community that this was a common problem this year. Didn't like that part at all
What's great about it: Ease of plugging in numbers
What's not so great: Some foreign language that printed my forms wasted a lot of paper.

Older years of Turbo Tax were more intuitive to use. Not enough easily available user help in understanding the tax code that applies to the step being done.

Quick and easy

Turbo Tax is a quick and easy format that you just follow step by step. As long as you are organized the system works very easily. Best to be setup with all your info before starting, but that is with any tax preparer. Seems accurate and helps you get the most for your money. A lot cheaper than having someone else to the taxes for you while you wait.
What's great about it: step by step instructions that are easy to follow and quick to do, similar year after year
What's not so great: no free state efile and always trying to upsell something else

Tax Time Again!

This is the tenth year we used Turbo Tax to file our return. Each year, we have found the software intuitive. Help features excellent and have always led to a complete and understandable answer. I recommend Turbo Tax to others as the preferred tax software.
