I have been using turbotax for many years and not just Turbotax, I have been using Intuit Quicken almost since the very beginning about 21 plus years ago, I am still using Quicken and could not imagine doing my taxes any other way then with Turbotax.
What's great about it: Fast, easy, walks you through everthing with ease

Easy to use...usually

Have been using Turbo Tax for many years. I depend on the way it calculates ongoing items (depreciation, and other business info) from year to year.
Last year, for the first time ever, I saved my returns to PDF and it did not transfer my info to my 2012 return, so I won't be using that feature anymore. Customer service stated that if you do that, it won't transfer. That information should be clearly stated in Turbo Tax directions.

What's not so great: Customer service was pretty basic, not really helpful in my situation.

easy does it

Turbotax takes the angst out of completing taxes. I use it every year. Filling out tax forms is never enjoyable, and unfortunately Turbotax can not change that. However they have simplified the process to the extent that it can be done quickly and efficiently. I recommend it.
What's great about it: easy to navigate
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

State return was not detailed enough. It relied on me knowing where state and federal law was different, with, for example, fields where I was suppose to enter any additions or subtractions from my federal income to calculate my state income without TurboTax providing guidance. It should walk me through the differences asking specific detailed questions.
What's great about it: Federal return very easy
What's not so great: State return needs work

First time use - very easy

Using Turbo Tax was smooth and easy. I've used other big name tax software for years and I decided to try Turbo Tax this year after the other program I had difficulties with the other program last year importing stock sales info. This was virtually effortless in turbo tax.
