TTax get better every year

Super easy process from initial data gathering and import of last year's information to e-filing the return.

Easy as Pie

Importing from last year's return was a snap and since my employer allows me to access my W-2 via TurboTax, the entire process was simple. Additionally, all of my meager investment data was pulled from the firm that handles my IRA - again, very easy and foolproof since I can't hand-jam in any wrong data.
E-filing was a breeze - only wish that they'd bundle a free State filing with the Federal filing.

What's great about it: Clear concise instructions.
What's not so great: None come to mind...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Best version yet!

I've been using Turbotax more than 10 years and 2012 is the best version I have ever used. It is easy to navigate and offers just the right amount of information and assistance when needed. It seems much more streamlined over prior editions. Nobody likes doing taxes but Turbotax makes the chore almost painless.
What's great about it: Very easy, with clear and helpful explanations
What's not so great: None.

Overall a much better way to do taxes than laboriously fill in written forms or pay a professional to do so. Been using for the past eight years with no problems
What's great about it: Easy!!, Qiuck!!
What's not so great: Did not coplete the E worksheet for a Schedule K we supplied

Utilize TurboTax for each tax year. It is a great product, with execellent guidance. Helps me to focus on the areas for deductions, and provides the assistance needed to file a accurate return without red flags for an audit
