Easy to Use

Really tough with a new college student to get everything figured out. Turbo Tax asked all the right questions.

Good refund, horrible program

The program was seriously flawed this year. I have yet to experience such poor program execution from Turbo Tax. The program stopped responding and would crash frequently - more than ten times during my return. There were also 2 instances where the crash caused my information not to save, and I had to restart that section. I was glad to get my refund, but the program hassles were not worth using Turbo Tax again in the future.
What's great about it: I got a great refund this year, and when the program wasn't crashing it worked well
What's not so great: During the time it took to fill out all of my information, TT 2012 crashed/ stopped responding more than ten times.

It was mostly good this year but the final payment process to efile my state taxes took a long time and had me pulling my hair out. I was very frustrated. Instructions not clear nor was the extra charge to have the payment withheld from the refund

Everything should be this easy!

This is the 4th year I've used TurboTax and I love it. It costs a fraction of what one of the tax prep companies would charge and each year I use it, it gets easier because it imports info from the last return.
What's great about it: easy as pie and cheaper than an accountant
What's not so great: had to go to 4 places to find it...they were sold out!

Makes filing taxes a breeze!

Filing tax returns no longer seems too scary or complicated. This is my 3rd year doing it on my own with Turbo Tax and it keeps getting easier. Personal info is saved & remembered for the next year's filing. Its like having your own personal CPA who remembers who you are!
What's great about it: Every time you use TurboTax, filing gets faster & easier!
