Easy.

Used Turbo Tax for many years.
What's great about it: Helps you through the process. Just have all your paperwork just as needed for a paid tax prepayer.
What's not so great: Only one state and cost to efile a state.

Program skipped state interview! Had to amend...

Despite having qualifying state tuition program contributions in all the years I've been using Turbotax (including last year), the program skipped the state interview entirely and went straight to "analyze return" (which did not flag the issue). After I discovered this I had to file an amended return (which, again, was not so easy to figure out in turbotax). Please fix these issues.
What's great about it: Still easiest to use, catches (almost) everything
What's not so great: Had to file amended return, lost some trust

20 Years of Trust

I've used TT for about 20 years now -- starting with Personal Tax Edge back in the 80's! I've never had a problem with it, and am 100% confident in the process, the calculations, and the product. I have somewhat complicated returns, with investment sales, home office deductions, business expense calculations, medical and other expenses, college tuition credits, charitable contributions, changes in jobs, unemployment...you name it. TT covers all the bases, and save me $100's of dollars each year on tax consultants.
What's great about it: Easy Guide is great! I feel confident that all the necessary steps are covered for my returns.
What's not so great: Embedded "ads" for TT Premium sometime annoying

I use Turbo Tax every year and have been completely satisfied with its performance and ease of use. Can't see paying 10 times as much for someone else to enter the numbers.
What's great about it: Easy to use and very helpful with the guided entries
