Filed with uncertainty

I filed with the uncertainty of a rejected return. I kept trying to put in what I was paid by unemployment, and when I tried to indicate that I had taxes withheld and clicked continue, it asked me if I was sure I wanted to delete the entry. I kept trying, and it wouldn't accept the entry when I indicated I had monies withheld for federal taxes. I know IRS has records of what was paid out through EDD, so I'm hoping they will make the corrections to my return for me. I don't like the idea of paying for a product that doesn't provide what is required.
What's great about it: Step by step instruction was easy to follow
What's not so great: turbo tax would not allow me to enter my unemployment compensation and withheld amounts
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This year we had a few instances where we received hobby income and one time self-employment income. Turbo Tax "walked" me through each topic and made it easy to file.

Handled stock Complexities

TT was able to handle everything but there were a few shortcomings. The program locked up 4-5 times and had to be restarted during entry of a long list of stock and mutual fund transactions. A support person was difficult to work with and treated me like I knew nothing. Finally tried again and got a different one whop pointed me to the proper form to us which was not done by EasyStept, The California version did not call out differences but made me go through each and every one myself with not a lot of help. There was no good options to print out only sections that I wanted rather than the whole return.
What's great about it: Ability to handle everyhting plus easy connection to help screen and chat
What's not so great: Print flexibiolity, support person. and California differences

As always, TurboTax helped me get my taxes done quickly, easily and as painlessly as could be expected.
Easy to use process ask questions just like a human would and helps you get the biggest possible refund.

Needs tweeking!

The questions concerning military retired pay should be reviewed by a senior military officer. They are not worded properly.
Also it would be nice to be able to scroll down without have to move the cursor all the way to the right and then try to get the page to move down. The down arrow should do the job.

liked the format, but i found the help mode wanting,had to call tubotax outside the program, (not handy), also the community was not working on my comp so that was out, was able to sort out all concerns and e-filed, and am waiting my refund,
What's great about it: fast
What's not so great: hard to get help
