I have used turbo tax for 15 years now. I am an accountant and do all my families taxes from home with turbo tax.

Simple and Straightforward

My situation is generally pretty simple, though I do have a little self-employment income along with my day job. TurboTax makes short work of the process and lets me save all the forms and worksheets, both Federal and State, in a single PDF for future reference. I've used TT Deluxe for years and have always been happy. I especially like being able to import basic data from previous years without having to re-enter it each year.
What's great about it: Everything is clear; little if any guesswork. Saves lots of time.
What's not so great: Nothing to complain about.

Very Efficient and Quick

Overall I am very satisfied with Turbo Tax. Never a math error. Years ago I did my taxes by hand. It is still a bit unnerving how automatic somethings are - almost too hands off.
I do not like when it asks me to upgrade or purchase audit protection or to make a donation.
What's great about it: Tax prep is very easy and straight forward
What's not so great: A little too much in the background. There are a few things that I would have preferred more explanation.
