Useful Refund Tool

Can be expensive but it makes things very simple and keeps your records for you and if you've not much filing it's free if you use the freedom version online. I'd Recommend it.
What's great about it: Easy To Use, Quick Online Filing, Free For Some
What's not so great: Will Cost You If You've Any Self-Employment

Could have been worse

Have been using Turbo Tax for years. It's never fun doing taxes but this at least takes away some of the frustration.
What's great about it: Easy to follow with good explination
What's not so great: little pricey for do it yourself
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I use Turbo Tax every year. It is a very easy and low cost way of filing your taxes. You are guided thru every step. Nothing better on the market. Thank you Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Simple explanation and easy to navigate.
What's not so great: Nothing I didn't like.

Solid Tool, But Could Use Better Descriptions

TurboTax is as straight forward as you can hope. It covers all aspects of your life and makes sure you account for all sources of income and deductions you can imagine. Two things bother me every year: 1) The continually moving refund/payment figure should appear after you have entered most of your income and deductions; otherwise it adds unnecessary angst to the process; 2) The additional instructions you click through when further detail is needed does not always make sense. It's as if they are using the definitions directly from the IRS, which are far from clear.
What's great about it: step x step process straight forward, covering every aspect of your life
What's not so great: When looking for detailed descriptions, too often it feels like they revert to the confusing IRS descriptions

Turbo Tax walks you through the entire return and is very easy to use. No matter how complicated your return the program will make sure you hit all applicable items. I have been using the program for years and love it!
What's great about it: Walks you through each phase of return

I found this was easy and simple to complete. After sweating the idea of getting my tax returns filed I ended up e-filing. Easy Peasy.

Over all very good easy to use, got to be at least my 15th year using TurboTax.
What's great about it: ease of working through TurboTax
What's not so great: trying to value items donated to charity was a bear.
