Works for Me!

I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for as long as I can remember. Every year is has been every helpful and allows me to file so much easier doing the e-file without having to print all of the forms and mailing them in. I like the way it reviews the details and points out items that may have been missed. A very good program. Always up-to-date.
What's great about it: Easy of use, quick and yet detailed
What's not so great: Brings up the State tax - it should look at state address and know that there is no State tax for that state.

2012 Taxes

On the whole the program performed to my expectations except input for the K-1 data was somewhat cumbersome.
What's great about it: Very good at leading thru the various steps
What's not so great: Handling the K-1 forms was rather difficult

Been using Turbotax for many years. Certainly has save me a lot of time that I would rather use for other purposes, and surely saved me some money as well.
What's great about it: This program has all the forms and answers for my situation.
What's not so great: A few points were difficult for this non-taxman to decipher, but just a few..

This year's Tax preparation was really a chore, so much so that I seriously may go to another service next year. I have reported my taxes using Turbo Tax since 2005, but I very possibly will switch next year. I have to say that I was very frustrated using TT this year.
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: confusing entries....no notification of change in presentation

Ease of preparation

I have been a turbo tax customer since the mid 90's. The product has evolved to be much easier to understand and use. Plug in the numbers and turbo tax does the rest. Very happy with the product!
What's great about it: Simple term explanation for screens
