excelllent, but there's always room for improving

IRA roth to IRA conversions are complicated and the questions asked are not as straight forward as the rest of the items. Other than that this has been an excellent software!
What's great about it: logisc step by step procedure
What's not so great: IRA roth conversions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Time to celebrate!

Overall Turbo Tax was very helpful and easy to use however, we have 1099-B income and that gave me fits figuring out where to put it. I must say though that when I found it I was able to put the information in ... however, when it went through the review on the PA form it asked questions that I didn't know how to handle and it caused a lot of anxiety.
What's great about it: helpful ... talked me through questions
What's not so great: PA form not as clear for our situation
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is Super easy

Overall, I love the product because it is so easy to enter information.
What's great about it: Easy and flexible - can answer questions or go right to forms
What's not so great: Had problems efiling state returns

We buy Turbo Tax every year because it is so easy to use. I just need to work harder at getting my records organized during the year.
What's great about it: I very much appreciate being led through the possible deductions. The software is extremely easy to follow.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it the most reliable and user-friendly program on the subject. Particularly like import features (prior years, w-2, 1099R).
What's great about it: Clear steps to follow. Review is particularly helpful

We have used Turbo Tax for years and it was a great saving with my husbands business expenses. But now that he is retired we no longer really needed the Deluxe version. It was too long with too many choices.
What's great about it: Very specific and Detailed
What's not so great: Deluxe version had too many choices
