We've used Turbo Tax for many years and never had a problem. I like that I can also do my adult childrens' tax returns for no additional fees.

I love the fact that TurboTax has customer service, even if it takes an hour. They are helpful and seem genuinely interested in assisting us as individual taxpapers.
What's great about it: Use once and you can import from prior years
What's not so great: Hold for customer service will take longer than indicated
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Hi,
As always, your product made filing super easy. The mistake I made re Paid Family Medical Leave was difficult to track down. Thankfully I remembered saying yes to the question and wondering if I was answering correctly. Once I saw that it messed up my Calif return it would have been great to have guidance on where to go to fix. Anyway, I figured it out and all is well.

What's great about it: Opportunity to check everything and learn how various items work even if they don't apply to me.
What's not so great: Question about Paid Family Medical Leave didn't have any explanation or opportunity to say what $ amount was Paid Leave.

It would be nice if there was a less expensive product for returning Turbo Tax users, i.e. a loyalty credit.
What's great about it: Import from last years return. Ability to switch between step by step and forms view
What's not so great: Expensive

It's nice that the federal return is free and considering Nevada does not have State income, it's great!
I trust Turbo Tax as they are one of the first. In fact, I would dare say, without researching, they are the first in the business!

Process was very simple and used the Help functions a few times and were very straight forward on explaining the boxes in question. Hightly recommend using the software!
What's great about it: Was very easy imported everything from last year took me 20 mins to do everything! Very easy

Got it Done!

I have used TurboTax for years after trying others. It has proven to be competent easy to use for returns that do not present detailed business or complicated personal issues. My guess is this is the best program for 98% of us that do our own taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to follow for a standard itemized refund
What's not so great: Descriptions of what items are could be more detailed and present consequences
