Great Guidance!

Really straightforward way of gathering and displaying informaiton needed to successsfully complete our returns. The additional explanations along the way reassured me that the information I was providing was indeed the correct information for that step.
I appreciated the cautions and checks embedded in the process. They allowed me to rethink some of my answers and to ensure I had included all appropriate information.
What's great about it: Carefully led me through the process.
What's not so great: Kept printing out an extra Fed copy, when i asked to just print the State version.

So Easy!

I loved that it asked me things in plain English! I was unsure about one of my forms before I started my return, but after using the software, I was confident that TurboTax helped me file correctly! I was eligible for deductions that I wasn't even aware existed! The cost of the software is very affordable, too! I am a happy customer, indeed! I will be buying this for many years to come! Thank you, TurboTax!
What's great about it: Easy to use, detailed help information, cost

I have been using Turbo Tax for my recent 2 years return but I love it. It's easy to use by leading you through small questions then decides which way is good for you.
What's great about it: Detailed, convenient in calculating and filling tax
What's not so great: Price is a little high

Another Turbo tax Year

I have been using turbo tax pretty much since it came out, Back in the day, you used it, but had to transfer the data by hand to your forms. The IRS didn't allow printing of their forms. Then the first of the e-file.. You had to print out a small e-file form and sign it and send it in, after you transmitted their cryptic e-form.
You've come a long way... And I was right there with you... Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: easy guide, yet quick to go back an modify forms
What's not so great: loads kind of slowly... and I have a nice laptop

Not bad

I had two areas that were not easy to figure out. One was regarding a distribution from an annuity that was an inheritance. It made it seem like I was the one who had to take a required minimum deduction from my IRA or something similar when in fact, my dad passed away and the annuity that he had left over was distributed to the children. It was very confusing. The second was for the farm that I became part owner of and we have it rented out and received a form 1099-misc, It was unclear to me where the rental income needed to be placed. I had to read and re-read the sections several times to make up my mind where to put it. I decided on a place and I hope it's the right one! Still not sure!
What's great about it: Like that the product gives me opportunites to review each category and checks for mistakes
What's not so great: I had a hard time with some subject areas that most people probably don't have to use.

I'll probably use it again next year but because of cost state refund filling should be free too.

It was good using the s/w, but in some cases (eg. Form 8938) it was not clear. Also it would be nice to expand the auto download to other financial institutions like Provident CU.
