Easy and (relatively) painless

Have used Turbo Tax for several years. If it was good enough for the CPA of my 2,000+ employee firm, it's good enough for me!
Definitely helps to have all your paperwork on hand before you start. I usually wait until February to file due to changes in tax laws. Turbo Tax will download any changes in forms, etc. to reflect those changes.
What's great about it: No worries about missing a form, income source or deduction
What's not so great: None

Smooth & Nearly Effortless for Federal & 2 States

Appreciate the lack of GPS-related commercials that flooded the airwaves last year at this time.
Really like the It's Deductible feature & customer item add.
I'm nearing 60 and completing a Masters degree online.
What's great about it: Lead me through the process & told me the risks
What's not so great: Didn't Specifically answer my question about filing 2nd State return when no income earned in that state

Best program going

this is the 5th straight year of using this product and i couldn't be more pleased.. every year i seem to run into a problem with getting something correct and this product takes care of it every time.. i like it and recommend it...
What's great about it: using this every year makes it easier and easier to complete
What's not so great: state return portion was confusing to start up

I had to pay for my state part of the Turbo Tax CD even though it was a Deluxe ::(

Turbo Tax 2012

I have been using Turbo Tax and Quicken for about 20 years. These are historically great products. The ease of access to information from IRS and other sources does not rise to the level previously seen. The Intuit people should increase their focus on Apple Mac and other Apple products.
What's great about it: Easy Work Flow - step by step
What's not so great: Lacks good links to IRS information
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I feel with Turbo Tax I complete my taxes honestly and get the best refund. It is easy. I have been using Turbo Tax for years and will continue.

Overall great, used it for 6 years now
What's great about it: Able to do it myself
What's not so great: Several glitches, had to reenter information because it did not pass from Federal to State form
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
