Procrastination Buster!

If you have been doing you own taxes with paper and pencil, with a calculater nearby, Turbo Tax is for you. Turbo Tax helps you to feel confident that your taxes were done correctly, and e-filed promptly. The amount of time it takes to get youself up and running with Turbo Tax is amazingly short. The time you save can be measured in hours. The bonus I like is that with Turbo Tax, your State Return is virtually completed for you at the time you complete your Federal return. This product is a must!
What's great about it: So easy to use. Makes you feel like you are a tax expert.
What's not so great: Could have some more up to date graphics and buttons that need to be pressed could be a little blacker and larger.

Using for 10 yrs

No software is perfect but TT is the best of the software out. TT has changed somethings that did not need to be changed. I especially like the option of going it alone or walk through.
The software loads too slow (slower than last year); have tried on 3 different computers. Have not used all features as I have been using TT for 10 years Help forum has many unanswered questions..why bother with it.
State taxes should have 1 free e-file as before.
Cost is somewhat high.
What's great about it: simple to follow instructions
What's not so great: software loads too slow, some changes unnecessay
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Walks you through the maze

I have used Turbo Tax online for the past 6 years, and I let it take me step by step through the process. No worries about math errors and missing an important line.
What's great about it: Questions help you consider large variety of elements
What's not so great: Unfamiliar terminology may intimidate newer users

2012 Turbo Tax review

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years. I like its ease of use, all the forms are there, and easy to e-file when done. It also gives you an audit review and other statistics comparing prior tax years and other tax payers.
What's great about it: Easy to use, helps you with most if not all the forms
What's not so great: dont like 20 charge to file state returns
Pros: I bought or sold investments

TurboTax good and bad

TurboTax does an excellent job of handling your tax situations in an easy to follow format. It seems to be very thorough but occasionally I have to dig deeper to find answers to questions but that is to be expected. Great at keeping prior years tax info at hand and imports it at the appropriate time. I was unable to actually print my documents though and had to e-mail them to myself in PDF format in order to print them????? The print function only let me review them and not print them though I had purchased my TurboTax CD at the local big box store something this basic should not be a problem. Also the price paid should include 1 State e-file though it doesn't. Overall - very pleased but please correct the print failure problem and provide the State e-file with the purchase price. Thank you.
What's great about it: Very good at leading you through the appropriate topics
What's not so great: I e-filed but could not print for my records & extra charge for State e-filing.

Easy button for taxes!

TurboTax has been my first choice for tax filing for over a dozen years now. It's complete and easy to use and it seems like there are improvements added each year.
What's great about it: Guided interviews are very helpful and simple to complete

I love using Turbo Tax!!! It is a step by step process which takes you through all your income first and then your deductions. It is made so you include everything and don't miss anything. There are extra places to click on when you feel you need more of an explanation or examples to help you decide if it pertains to you or not. I highly recommend Turbo Tax to everyone!
What's great about it: Easy to follow, step by step, questions easy to answer
What's not so great: Stuck on 1099-DIV-doesn't say to put a 0.00 in a box when needed in Turbo Tax, when not on the form.
