Overall it was very easy to follow simple step by step instructions. It is very fast if one follows the guided method.
What's great about it: really easy
What's not so great: could have eliminated unnecessary deduction
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another Year Done! Still Cheaper than the CPA

Have been using TurboTax most years since 1998. Has gotten easier to maneuver through program. Love the "It's Deductible" for itemizing, as I have been doing itemizing for years, thanks to ease of program. Could not get any of the choices to work to load financial info from financial institutions and brokerages into TurboTax. This slowed things up considerably as I rebalanced portfolio this year and had numerous gains/losses. VERY frustrating. Wasted over 2 hours on this problem alone. Prefer using TurboTax to going to CPA-you still have to cart the paperwork either to your desk or theirs.
What's great about it: plain English directions, easy to follow, more info a click away
What's not so great: Loading financial Info into TurboTax didn't work
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Good Software

I'm a CPA and did taxes for years. So, I know the ins and outs of software. For a program that is user friendly and does all that I need, it is priced at a reasonable rate. Thanks.
What's great about it: User Friendly
What's not so great: Don't like having to go back thru an entire section to make a change.

No Fear Doing My Taxes

I like using Turbo Tax each year because it transfers over my info from last year and imports data needed making tax work very user friendly.
What's great about it: Easy imput of info from past taxes & W-2's. Walked me through step by step...real easy!
What's not so great: None
