Easy Tax Filing with Turbo Tax

Turbo tax undoubtedly sved me money this year by anticipating my need for estimated taxes and providing the appropriate forms. EFTPS is a better way to file estimated taxes and Turbo Tax provides the amounts. Import of charitable donations from "Its Deductible" simplifies entry of all donations. Although I live in a state that does ot have income tax, and Turbo Tax knows this, it still wants to file state taxes and does not make it easy to bypass selection unless the correct path is chosen to complete the federal forms.
What's great about it: Provides all possible income and deductions with explanations
What's not so great: The checks for completeness aren't complete until efiling returns. Est. taxes should consider income changes next year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Nicely done

Overall, the layout of the product is good. I would like to better be able to see a breakdown for donation of new items for charity where I have receipts. I would also like to see the mortgage deductions clearly show interest and premiums. Yet it's still so much easier than doing by hand and much cheaper than paying someone to do a basic return for me.

Almost makes paying the IRS Painless

Since switching to TurboTax two years ago after getting tired of the TacCut alternative, I will never go back. This application makes the whole process ALMOST painless. Even makes it eash to file if you owe. (need to stop that though)
Very thorough, intuitive, and flexible application for about any tax condition or form I will ever have need for.
Feels so good when it is done!

Stumbled on Error Review

I had one error in my input of information and TurboTax didn't tell me how to correct it. I had to figure it out myself through trial and error method.

Totally done with taxes

Took less than an hour to do Federal and State and do get the audit check done. Great to have them done.
What's great about it: Loved the snapshots and guiding me through forms
What's not so great: Difficult to find answers on education credit
