I have done my taxes for 8 years with this program. The process is easy. The cost is reasonable. I receive my tax refund long before most file their taxes.

Every year turbo tax provides less coverage and help for a given product level and the box provides less guidance for what forms can be filed with a given product. Going from a downloaded product last year to a store bought copy this year was more complicated than it should have been. store bought copy is good for more than one return where downloaded version is same price and good for only one person in a family. The product does seem to be accurate and the instructions once inside are good, but assume you know some basic ideas about accounting. State returns shouldn't be so expensive to efile, much cheaper to file state by paper.
What's great about it: things worked well
What's not so great: deluxe does form C but box doesn't indicate well that it does it

My experience!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now and have not had the trouble I had this year. I could not get my Mississippi forms to e-file. I kept getting the message that some information was missing. I went back and checked everything and it was entered accurately.
Finally, and I don't know what I did differently than I had been doing, I tried one last time and the forms went through.
Needless to say, I am much relieved to get this awful time of frustration behind me.
Not sure IF I will use TT again. Will have to think long and hard. There must be an easier way to get support.
Looking at "Community", I wasn't the only one having the same problem.

Excellent Service!

Turbo Tax makes it easy to complete what can be a personally "taxing" experience in a couple of hours, with maybe one or two follow-up questions. I save hundreds of dollars every year not having an accountant prepare questions that I, at Turbo Tax's direction, can answer myself.
What's great about it: Good direction and double-checks. I don't mind being asked twice, three times, or more.
What's not so great: None

Sometimes iit is difficult to make a simple correction. You must go thru the entire group of questions, and re-enter info..
What's great about it: Fairly simple from year to year entries
What's not so great: Deluxe doesn't bring up certain forms automatically that you have used in the previous years. You must find it yourself

Every year it is a bit ambiguous when I want to take a break and come back later, it is not OBVIOUS how to save and when you start in again, how to pick up where I left off. I always figure it out but with trepidation.
Also, at the end when I E-filed federal but needed to return to State Print for mail in, it did not take me back to follow through. I once again get nervous and backwards navigate to get to STATE print for file.
