Overall Very Easy

Very easy to get through return. However, this year I had a large unexpected income spike at year end and a corresponding spike in estimated tax payments. The program did not flag the potential of an underpayment penalty and the need for form 2210 (I have been bitten before on this). I located the form and checked box C. The program requested the required information but the amount shown for taxable SE income was 50% instead of the 57.51% value for 2012. It also indicated that the SE tax needed to be subtracted from AGI instead of to get AGI. Nevertheless, with the correct AGI entered, the computations seemed to be fine.
What's great about it: Very easy to get through and compare inputs from last year
What's not so great: Did not highlight potential problem with underpayment

It's a little hard to navigate until you get the hang of it. It could be easier if you could see the form as you completed each of the sections.

the whole experience this year just seemed to be more cumbersome than previously encountered - especially in the income section, found myself wading thru qwuestions forever and didn't feel comfortable about quite a few of my answers

Quick, Easy, and Painless

Been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for years to file my taxes. Made things as painless, fast, and simple as possible. My only regret is I did not get as much back on my returns this year as last, but I am pretty sure I can thank the IRS and the great state of MD for that...
What's great about it: Fast, Easy to Understand Walkthrough, Finds as many deductions as Possible
What's not so great: No cons I could see
