Great program to file taxes

Very straight foward and simple to use program. Interface is very well designed, making it very easy to file taxes and not ve overwhelmed. Also being able to import important documents was very helpful.
What's great about it: Very straightfoward and dummy proof. Items are presented in an easy to understand manner with direction on what to fill
What's not so great: Did not see many, was perfect for my needs, beats paper filing anyday
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Fast and Accurate

It took me a little over an hour to file my taxes. Knowing that my chances of being audited was very low, gave me peace of mind. I've been using TurboTax for over ten years and could not do without it.
What's great about it: It made filing my taxes less stressful.

Comfort and Confidence

First time for me to actually do the filing in ALL of my married years, after my husband died. His long time use of TurboTax, with prior year data to populate the return, made this a delightful learning opportunity for me. I am grateful for TurboTax in a horrendous personal year.
What's great about it: drills deep into details with all of the pop up windows

Easy to Use

As a financial professional, I've used the professional software in preparing tax returns, and i became used to the format which allows you to see the tax return as a whole while you enter information. TurboTax is great for non-financial types because it breaks down the sections into easily-understood categories where you are prompted to enter the information. However, if you understand supporting schedules it can be a little frustrating to have to wade through the walk-throughs because you know what needs to be entered and can't always find that section until you get to the final review.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Comprehensive Sections that allow you to enter and edit information
What's not so great: Can't view whole picture of return until you get to the end
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

A Great Help Each Year

I always dread doing my taxes until I start doing them with Turbotax. Then when I get through I wonder why I even put it off in the first place. It is well worth the money to have it each year, especially for filing electronically and saving the return for my records. Most people that complain about Turbotax have never enjoyed the ease of it. It is a try it and you will definitely like it experience.
What's great about it: Very detailed and ease for previous years info and comparison
What's not so great: Really can't think of any

Helped me remained calm

Turbo tax helped me remained calmed when the government couldnt complete the forms such as energy credit. I love how i was out of town and got a text message stating that my forms were accepted. It was a big releif, thanks turbo tax.
