Too easy

Overall, TurboTax is great. I recommend it to my friends. It's easy and fast.
I have a few nit-picky criticisms.
Wish the Easy Step was a little less easy. Sometimes I come back to the program after a week or more and can't remember what I've done and what I haven't reviewed. Kind of annoying to click through the same steps again, when I just want to check one entry field.
And printing the State forms separately requires you to enter page range.
Get it. Perfect for the average homeowner.

there are certain items they do not explain and i get struck. you are a big company making lot of money with Turbo Tax. Why not have a telephone help desk? I think it is necessary as a couple of my friends called me in the middle of doing thir taxes in Turbo Tax. There shoud be a drop down menu for every line to explain things, especially Partnerships. I fill out the K-1 form and still this comes out in error. I gain or lose a few dollars but I spend more than an hour figuiring out what the error check wants. Questions should be more specific and to the point and not make us guess.

One easy and terrific software for tax

I had not do my tax for about 8 years and this software is terrific; It able to let me find all my deductibles and save money by doing yourself. Plus, it give you an awareness of what action items that I need to do or pay attention and to save tax new year. I will for sure you Turbo Tax again next years.

Doing my taxes with TurboTax since it came out

Been using Turbo Tax since the first year, I believe. During this time I have had the opportunity to see it evolve from a user friendly program to a very user friendly program. The only thing I miss from the first programs is the lack of in dept coaching on how to save money on next years taxes, payroll deduction suggestions and retirement savings suggestions. Still I don’t believe there is a better product out there to fill my needs.
What's great about it: I don't miss deductions and my tax preparer doesn’t charge me for blank pages.
What's not so great: A little more tax planing and suggestions at the end would be nice

Taxes Easy

I love the way that TurboTax walks you through screen by screen. The only problem is there are just so many screens. I also wish when it ran the correction program it took you back to the screen by screen section instead of to the form because it is easier to understand it the way you entered it. But overall I love the program. I have been using it for years and will continue to do so and recommend it to everyone I know.
What's great about it: Screen by screen use
What's not so great: During the review I wish it took you back to the screens to correct instead of the form

nice to sit at home instead of making an appointment and waisting most of my day traveling to get my taxes done in town.
turbo tax covered all the catigories well and i found some deductions i would have missed if i had done this on my own.
very nice to e-file!
con's: i could do with out the adds for other services, protection and donations
