OH NO I OWE

I have used your sftware for quite a while and never any problems -- very satisfying. It also allows me to drag my sons over and get them to use the software to file their taxes. They are always willing as long as they get a refund!
What's great about it: We are able to model different combinations of data
What's not so great: The 2.49% I would get charged if I paid taxes using charge card

Turbo Tax and I

I am not new to Turbo Tax, having used it several times to calculate my taxes.
This year I had several different concerns to cover, and the Deluxe Turbo Tax edition was prepared to address them (although there were repeated opportunities to buy Premium which I don't think I needed).
I particularly find the options to print forms in PDF form at various stages of the return very useful.
The language used in the review was very clear and the help sections and links clearly marked.
The links to the IRS websites for forms and explanations were precise and accurate.
The pace of the review was a little long, but at the same time I had -as noted earlier- several unusual items to covers.
I would highly recommend Turbo Tax Deluxe to anyone needing assistance with tax return preparation.
What's great about it: Very thorough, covered normal income, rental income, unusual income, identified potential problem areas, very tactful
What's not so great: navigation was very focussed: no easily found detailed checklist to pinpoint specific lines (unless switching to forms)

Makes tax preparation easy

I have used TurboTax for more than ten years to prepare my personal multi-state return and tax returns for my son and daughter.
Tax preparation using Turbo-tax has been easy and fortunately we have never been audited. The program has been very useful in evaluating how to obtain the maximum allowable deductions and to evaluate different approaches.

We have been using turbo tax now for over 18 years. We can't do without it. It sure makes life a little easier at tax time.

What's not so great: Just a little confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great software, easy to use, simple to understand. Use this if you don't have complicated returns, or you are not smart.
