Made My Complex Tax Situation Much Easier

I have used Turbo Tax for about twenty years. For the most part, the program made my job easier by importing data from previous files and the links to the internet worked flawlessly. I finished my taxes, with issues such as inherited IRAs and distributions from existing IRAs along with extensive medical expenditures, in a short time. I am confident of the calculations in the program and have faith that I will have an accurate return.
What's great about it: Ease of Navigation
What's not so great: Difficult to find inherited IRA portion of program.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax is a great product that I have been using for more than 10 years. It's really nice to be able to easily e-file your forms with the federal government. It's too bad it has to be so expensive and that you feel like you need to pile on the cost by charging to e-file with the state.
What's great about it: Easy to use and transfers last years information
What's not so great: Cost

Another Year - Done

Overall this is about as good as it gets. Since only death and taxes are a sureity, it is good to have a dependable product to handle at least one of these things.
What's great about it: Easy to use, good for beginner to seasoned pro
What's not so great: sometimes going back to review/change data is not smooth, should be able to review last years info at a click

I've used Turbo Tax Deluxe and its predecessor for over 10 years and have found it to be consistent from year to year. It transfers last year's information, it asks me all the right questions, and handles business returns and K-1s with ease.

Get It Right -Quick and Easy

Each year the stress of filing income tax returns is greatly reduced due to the efficient format of Turbo Tax..Lots of checks and reviews to keep information accurate and organized..Always feel that this complicated process is made so much easier come April 15th.
What's great about it: Format is easy to understand, consistently the best way to do income tax returns
What's not so great: Questions in Questionnaire vary somewhat year to year.

Downloading all the information from last years Turbo tax saves a lot of time and effort. When you enter charitable deductions you enter the address later, It would be nice if you did it at the time of entering the other information as you have the paperwork out at that time.
What's great about it: Step by step walks you through so you don't miss anything
What's not so great: Paying a fee to file State Return
