Got the Job done

Most menus clear and concise. Some areas (such as deductions - 1099-G) got confusing. Tech support pulled me through.
What's great about it: Fairly straight forward. Tech support. Almost painless.
What's not so great: Confusing in certain areas.

Use it every year!

We've used this every year for the past 10 years. It is a high quality product. The first year I didn't "trust" the program so we did a paper version by hand as well - got the same exact figures!! This gave me total confidence in this product. Now that our taxes have gotten more complex I can save so much time by using TurboTax and I can trust that everything is accurate!
What's great about it: So easy to walk through each aspect of my return

excellent for individuals or couples with no unusual situations
What's great about it: step by step interview and entry
What's not so great: many different uncommom situations not covered or unable to modify
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Had problems understanding the questions that would enable taxation of the taxable portion of my 401K "conversion" to a Roth IRA (eventually got it to work, but too hard to get to that point). Entering various components of income, pensions, etc was not smooth. Overall, a great tax prep program that I have been using for years.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and follow along with step-by-step

I have used Turbo Tax for the past 15 years and have never had any problems filing my returns. Everything is there!

I have been using TurboTax for both personal and business tax returns for over a decade. The professionalism of the product is just outstanding. It walks you through all of the possible situations, explains the options, and creates a very nice-looking accurate return. I am totally sold on using this product year after year to do my returns!
What's great about it: Covers every situation
What's not so great: I can't think of any!
