Turbo Tax has worked fine for me, only wish I had started using it earlier. I did seem to like slugging my way through the process without help, but this way is sweet.
What's great about it: easy to follow, simple explanations
What's not so great: would like a window showing the forms filling in as I progress

Kept asking for W2 info, even though I didn't have any.
Had to go back and find the place to check No w2s.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use
What's not so great: Hard to correct mistakes

Turbo Tax -Empowers me

I have been using turbo tax to do my entire families taxes for the last 5 years. It takes you through the steps, even if you have many different types of investments .
I am not a numbers person and being detailed oriented is NOT one of my strengths. Even careless mistakes have been found for me by turbo tax. Using this soft ware is helping me to consider a second career in accounting after I retire in two years from teaching.

What's great about it: Step by step help, even if you don't know what you are doing.

nice product easy to use, I paid someone last year for no reason should have just used turbo, mine are pretty easy but if I did have other items to enter it would be easy to do so

This was my first time using Turbo Tax so it was a little confusing but that was not the program I think; it was more me. I like how it guided me through everything including where to put my GiftTrust information; I wasn't sure I would figure out where that stuff went. Not sure about the e-file so this year I will print and mail. I think next year I will get more adventurous and try out the e-file part.
What's great about it: Step by Step guidance; W2 importing
What's not so great: NA
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Program

Turbo Tax software easy to load and use. Able to import previous year data quickly and use electronic links to get W2 and other income forms. Continually updates program for Federal and State forms so completion and filing has latest versions and information. Recommend Turbo Tax to new and experienced users.
What's great about it: Used for 15 Years, ease of use is best aspect; able to switch from forms to step by step
What's not so great: Foreign earned income complex to complete

Had some Estate and Inheritance items that were quickly and easily resolved and filed. It would have taken hours to look up the material that TurboTax provided in just minuets.
