I found e-filing very straight forward, but have to wonder if all is OK. Time will tell, I guess.

Thanks for making the "un-fun" tax season tolerable!
What's great about it: Love the efile features. Refunds come very quickly.

Massachusetts State was confusing. Needed to download the instructions from the state website to answer the questions.
Excess Roth IRA contributions was confusing - need more help and examples here....

I used Turbo tax for a few years, then switched to another tax program at the recommendation of a friend. The other program caused me to pay extra taxes--I will be filing an amended return for that year--I will use Turbo tax for all future returns. I have found out about others who used "the other" tax program and their refunds will be smaller--they are returning to Turbo Tax also. As far as I am concerned, Turbo Tax is the best program out there for the DIY person.
What's great about it: User friendly; step by step questions are great; skip what I don't need
What's not so great: can't think of anything

I DREAD DOING TAXES EVERY YEAR AND WHEN I'M DONE I ALWAYS TRY TO FIGURE OUT. TURBO TAX SIMPLIFIES ALL THE QUESTIONS SO A LAYPERSON CAN UNDERSTAND THEM AND THEN MAKES MANUEVERING THROUGH THE PROGRAM SO EASY. I ALWAYS ENTER MY TAX INFO ONE DAY, THEN GO BACK ANOTHER TO MAKE SURE THE ENTRIES WERE CORRECT AND I NEVER HAVE ANY TROUBLE GETTING BACK INTO THE PROGRAM AND REVIEWING EACH AND EVERY ITEM FOR ACCURACY. IN THIS CASE, I'M REFERRING TO THE ACCURACY OF THE DATA ENTRY. THEN I RERUN IT FOR ERRORS AND AUDIT LIKELIHOOD. AND OF COURSE THEN FILE. WHAT A PAINLESS WAY TO DEAL WITH TAXES. WHEW, DONE FOR ANOTHER YEAR. THANK YOU TURBO TAX. :)
