Makes the best of a bad activity

I've used TurboTax with efiling and direct deposit of refund for years I don't ever want to try my taxes by pencil and paper again
What's great about it: easy to follow guide through income tax forms
What's not so great: some of the error / correction boxes are difficult to understand

Awesome Refund!!!

I was nervous about using TurboTax because I have always had a professional tax service do my taxes....but never again!! TurboTax made filing my taxes painless. I
think I got more of a refund than with the tax professionals.
I will continue to use TurboTax to file my taxes!!!

Does not allow for use of somplified general rule for federal and 3 year rule for state return

Excellent refund!

I was able to get started and go through the returns in a maximum amount of time. They responded with any errors turbo taxed came up with quickly and I look forward to using them again next year.
What's great about it: explained everything out I needed
What's not so great: I had some issues just with the printing but did get it to work.

Taxes were an arduous process this year due to complexity, not to Turbotax. Turbotax was very helpful in almost every situation. Where it wasn't, I found that I just didn't know enough. I have used Turbotax for years and am quite satisfied.
What's great about it: The questions were helpful. Detailed explanation popups were also.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I don't dread doing taxes like I used to

You can do a little at a time and start up later in the same place. It hides all the confusing worksheets and just asks what is needed in straightforward language. The e-filing is very convenient too. It takes a little of the dread out of doing taxes.
