I understand that not everyone will want TurboTax to file their state refund but I didn't like the hidden fees that kept popping up in order to finish my taxes. Be upfront about the total costs.
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: hidden fees

The 9th consecutive year I have filed my taxes using TurboTax and I don't understand why anyone would pay someone else to do their taxes for them.
What's great about it: Quick, comprehensive and easy. If you can answer questions you can do your taxes!
What's not so great: Expensive to E-file State return.

Software was very easy to use - step by step guidance. When I did get stuck on an area your staff guided me through it quickly and explained what was happening completely.
What's great about it: Guided me step by step.
What's not so great: Confusion on mineral rental

Another Year Done!

We've used TurboTax for many years and find it easy to use. We like the way it walks a user through the process yet it allows the user to go directly to a specific item if needed also.
What's great about it: User Interface, Help
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Consistent Performance

I've been using turbotax for over 10 years and it keeps getting better each year. The software is very intuitive and it guides you from section to section on each tax form with ease.
What's great about it: Ease of usage
