Quick, Simple, Without Hassle

I have given up trying to file taxes on my own. I made errors in three of four years - all caaught by the IRS and ones that would have cost me money had my original return gone through. With Turbo Taxes' thorough review of my deductions and income, I save time and money! I get an error-free return with the maximum return - all without the frustration of trying to figure out the tax forms on my own.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and fast!

Excellent overall

Excellent, whether being used with the easy step or "on your own". One discrepancy came regarding the import of Broker Transactions and the associated worksheet (for my records only). I couldn't get rid of the errors, but since the subject sheets were for my records only and would not effect the submission to the IRS, I simply deleted the worksheets so that the program would allow me to efile.

It makes me worry a bit with all the updates, even at this late stage whether there is concern if I file earlier.

What's not so great: Concerns over all the updates. Why can't it be ready to go on day one?

TurboTax asks questions in a way a non-tax-professional can understand - in a way I feel confident about answering. When I'm finished with my return, I feel assured knowing that every possibility for refunds or credits has been explored, and that I'm getting the best possible refund for me.
What's great about it: Appropriate and concise questions
What's not so great: None that I can think of.

Smooth sail

I am a first time user. I did not find any difficulty to complete my returns. I fiddled around with my traditional and Roth IRA contributions and found the point where I have the maximum benefit and then recharacterized from one IRA to the other.
I am planning to use Turbo Tax next year and recommend for others.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, even for a beginner
What's not so great: No complaint

Simplified the confusing process!

Like many Americans, I had to get creative to make ends meet in 2012. After finding myself out of a job due to a bankruptcy, I ventured out on my own not fully appreciating the complexity of self-employed taxes. TurboTax simplified the complex process of filing all the extra forms!
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step process for first time self-employed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
