experience not as good as in previous years

TT wouldn't let me put in income from a rental farm without making me a hired hand and trying to take out self employment tax, no matter what I did. Finally had to just put it in as regular rental property, which isn't right.
Was installed on older computer, where all my old TT files are, so they could be accessed. TT kept crashing the computer when I tried to access the section to print/file. Annoying. My son also had a similar problem on his (new) computer,so it's not just mine.....

What's great about it: like that TT will access last year's files, usually easy to use, but not always!
What's not so great: kept crashing older computer when trying to get to file/print section, had to move to newer computer

Always great experience

Great program to use and deductible on taxes. I've used TT for several years now. I like how it builds on previous years and compares. I feel confident with TT.
What's great about it: Easy to use, simple instructions, Audit Defense
What's not so great: Nothing I don't like. I feel confident using TT.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I use TurboTax every year because it's better and easier than lugging forms to a tax preparers office.
What's great about it: Simple & Fast
What's not so great: Needs a bookmark feature

The program gets easier to use each year. I really appreciate the step-by-step approach to getting information into the form. Especially the import feature from the previous years' data.
What's great about it: Easy, fast intuitive
What's not so great: Nothing comes to mind

I have used Turbox Tax since it was made available and it has never let me down.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax has always been easy and convinient to use.

Simple to File / Quick Returns

The software is good but the price keeps creeping up and then there is the "hidden" filing fee for the state tax return. I like free but find the Tax Act software less straight forward.

Always easy

Have used turbo tax for years - like the ease of use and importing from last year . Even found an extra deduction I never would have found - Retirement 8880
What's great about it: love importing - found an extra $200 deduction - 8880
What's not so great: I had to many error checks ( my fault thought)
